Marcus Poole

Marcus Poole is a Cleveland-based attorney and business consultant with more than 47 years of experience in small business development and telecommunications consulting. A 1974 graduate of Northwestern University, where he was an early activist with the university's For Members Only organization during the founding era of its African American Studies department, Poole went on to earn his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Early in his career, he served as assistant director of franchises for Teleprompter, then one of the nation's largest cable television operators.

Poole has spent decades as a fixture in Cleveland's Black legal and civic community, regularly named alongside pioneering local attorneys and civil rights leaders. As a contributing writer for RealPower.TV, he brings that legal and business background to bear on the issues shaping Cleveland's Black community, from economic development to civic leadership.
