Support the Movement

Independent media has to be funded independently

We are not a commentary platform. We are infrastructure — built to produce informed, activated, empowered community members who understand the game and know how to play it. Staying independent means staying accountable to our community, not to advertisers or outside interests. Your support helps fund production, equipment, and the day-to-day work of covering Cleveland's politics, faith, culture, and business — on our own terms.

Voices for a Better Future PAC

RealPower.TV runs advertising for Voices for a Better Future PAC (VFBFPAC), a driving force for Black political power in Ohio. Voices for a Better Future and others who sponsor this station make it possible for us to keep doing the work we do — supporting them allows us to continue. VFBFPAC is focused on empowering African American communities to participate in elections through political advocacy, voter education, and support for candidates who champion civil rights and social justice.

Since 2008, voter participation among African American men in Ohio has fallen from 95% to 80%. Voting intention has declined even more sharply among younger Black Americans — from 50% in Fall 2019 to just 38% in Fall 2023. VFBFPAC exists to reverse that trend through year-round civic engagement, not just election-season outreach: community research and listening sessions, targeted voter messaging, and sustained advocacy on criminal justice reform, voting rights, equal job opportunities, health disparities, poverty, and education.

When you click “Donate,” you'll be taken directly to VFBFPAC's official donation page. Please note VFBFPAC is a political action committee, and contributions to it are not tax-deductible.
